Some people find the heat unbearble. I've come to love it. especially at night.
Sometimes i wonder why my parents didn't choose to live in the city. where everything seems to be "happening" and there's always something to do. But all it takes is a summer night or two to remind me. The chirp of the crickets, and the infallible glow and essence of the stars. The ones you woudln't be able to see if you were in the city, beause of the obtrusive lights of the skyline, hanging in the horizon. Though...sitting on top of a hill near the middle of nowhere and looking at the stars, and seeing the colored lights of the city line the sky...as a warm breeze plays with your hair and grazes your back...with a sweet heavy smell hanging in the air...air so thick and fresh it completely envelopes your lungs... and the feel like they can't get enough. Nights liek those are the best of both worlds, and all i could ever ask for.
