Until Xmas

R & J & I were together for what will be the last time until Christmas.R is leaving for Japan on Thursday. He's going to teach Enlglish to Japanese children for a year. R picked me up after work and we drove the hour and something to see J, all this starting at 10:20pm. R and I did the usual singing to songs we both really love because we all have similiar yet eccentric and odd tastes in music. He sang beautifully on key and loudly and confident, and i..well i just sang/mumbled along as best as i could. We got Starbucks-- very few understand my coffee fiending like he does. and then we met J and sat at Denny's for a few hours. It was all very us of us. We talked about things that only we do, we know, we expect and understand. How we don't use butter on our pancakes, microwaving scrambled eggs and our opinions on them and preffered egg cooking styles,computergames (this took up the bulk of the converstaion, much of which i could only partially follow b/c I do not play the same game as them yet), and we exchanged our best and grossest drunk/throw up stories of our friends and ourselves. It was all very mundane and every day and perfect. I will miss nights days moments talks like these.

I will really miss R. But i'm glad he's fianlly going to make it to Japan. I love that he made his dream happen with out having to compromise himself, or his dream.I haven't seen anyone accomplish such a feat for a long while.
