one was advice from my favorite bartender, that i took to heart & plan to follow. which was pretty much "go & have fun in Spain, and if Dan is still on your mind when you get back, then you know you need to fix it."

and the second one i was confirming with the bar owner i had my job if i needed it come summer (& i probably will due to the fact i will be unemployed on my return.) and he told me "you'll always have a spot here....as long as you don't get fat or ugly." we both laughed, but also both knew he was kind of serious. That's the bad thing about working at a bar or club and you are female, you are expected to be cute, while guys don't have to be.

anyways I also found this cute thing while browsing books and travel guides at Barnes & Noble. its a basically a journal where you only write a line or two every day for five years. I like the idea because i get overly ambitious in how much i think i will write here. and its normally more about what i'm feeling, and not what's happening. anyways, going to try it out in spain. i'll include some here. might as well start now.

4/14/2012: ran around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get ready for the trip, both doing errands and seeing/talking to people.

boring, but its just supposed to jog your memory of wtf you were doing :)
