Sometimes it's such a great release to find your thoughts & words in someone else's. They've said it for you, felt it with you. They've wrestled with it and sat with long enough to express it so accurately. Eloquently. Definitively. Sometimes it's like, if it's written down you can stare at it. Acknowledge it. Consume it. Finally let it go. So I found this:

I hope that how we ended
didn't hurt too much
that you just
brushed yourself off
& looked ahead
for the future is bright
and yours will burn like the sun
you are going to do beautiful things
I'm just sad
I will never see them.
